Attention all fiction writers and playwrights: Do you love kids? Are you excited by the idea of helping children learn to write short stories with beginnings, middles, and (drum roll) endings? Writopia Lab, an award-winning 501(c)3 non-profit that runs the country's best creative writing workshops for kids and teens, ages 6-18, is hiring instructors for our Bay Area (California) lab and off-site programs within this region. 

During the school year, workshops meet once a week for ten weeks at a time. All young writers finish at least one story by the end of their workshop.Our instructors are half camp counselor (fun, humorous, warm and engaging) and half savvy editor/teacher (astute, insightful, serious, open, and sensitive). We train instructors extensively in our method and are looking for published fiction authors and/or produced playwrights.
