Sleepaway Camp Nurse (RN or LPN) at two-week sleepaway camp in PA

Writopia Lab, an award-winning 501(C)(3) nonprofit that runs the country's best creative writing workshops for kids ages 2 to 18, is hiring a nurse for our two-week sleepaway camp in Honesdale, PA. Valid RN or LPN certification, two years of camp experience, a love of kids and teens, and a valid driver’s license are all required.

WriCampia is a creative writing-oriented sleepaway camp designed for kids ages 9 to 18. Our young writers spend the day participating in creative writing workshops, literary electives, and typical camp activities, such as boating and swimming.

Nurse will be in charge of dispensing medicine, caring for injured or sick campers (ages 9 to 19), and handling medical emergencies.

The camp runs from Sunday, August 12th through Friday, August 24th 2018. Applicants must be available for this entire period. Please contact us as soon as possible if this sounds like you. Compensation is $1300 plus room and board.
